Local Church's CARE Ministry Team Recognized With Commissioners Community Circle Award For Outreach Efforts
RTP, NC (OPENPRESS) December 28, 2011 -- Senior Pastor Andy Thompson, founder of World Overcomers Christian Church (http://www.wocconline.org), a nondenominational church serving worshippers in North Carolina's Research Triangle Park community, has announced that the church received the Commissioners Community Circle award during the Durham Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting on Dec. 12 at the Durham County Administration Building. The Commissioners Community Circle Award is presented each year to organizations that demonstrate excellence in productivity, creativity and commitment to Durham county residents. World Overcomers Christian Church's CARE Ministry team received the honor from the BOCC in recognition of its commitment to improving the lives and providing for the needs of local residents.
