5th Annual Wilmington Epicurean Evening Awards Eric Gephart For Best Presentation

Raleigh, NC (OPENPRESS) December 28, 2011 -- The Chef's Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 108-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers more than 30 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that Eric Gephart, lead instructor for The Chef's Academy, was awarded for Best Presentation at the 2011 Wilmington Epicurean Evening. The event, which was held at the Wilmington Convention Center in September, raised funds for the Methodist Home for Children, an organization that educates parents and caregivers on how to eradicate social problems that lead to child abuse, neglect and abandonment. Participants, including Gephart, provided samples of food and drink to more than 400 attendees.

QUOTES:
"I am honored to be awarded for best presentation by the judges at the Wilmington Epicurean Evening, and proud to assist in raising awareness and funds for the Methodist Home for Children," said Gephart. "Volunteering my time and talents has always been one my utmost priorities in life, and I hope to inspire my students at The Chef's Academy to be not only creative artists, but also good stewards of their communities."
