Comprised of both lawyers and non-lawyers from across the district, the committee members' job is to review complaints filed with the North Carolina State Bar, the lawyer's response to the complaint, and the results of the investigation to decide whether to recommend that there is probable cause or no probable cause to prove that the lawyer has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct.
