Lagos, Nigeria, November, 20 — A young African gifted writer, Chinwe O'Brien, will release his long awaited thrilling novel "Dark Hearts". He is planning on releasing the much hyped novel in his country, and it would be launched in a grand style.
Set in a turbulent third world country, "Dark Hearts" is a story of the deadly life of a fresher in college. This fresher is weighed down by failure and public humiliation in school, all caused by this brutal murderer and oppressor. The boy has a secret which he must keep; the people he holds dear to his heart are in danger if this murderer is in control, and his ambition would be thwarted by this murderer. There is something that must be done, although it would be too risky. But life is a risky game, and the game must be played. Should he take this disastrous risk, reveal this secret and loose the people he loves or keep the secret and watch his ambition go down the drain?
O'Brien, an undergraduate student and a gifted writer, he has been writing from a tender age; he has written essays and short stories which have been published in magazines and journals in his country. He is recently pursuing a degree in English Language and Literature.
