(OPENPRESS) December 28, 2010 -- INXS will be playing at one of Sirromet Wines' A Day on the Green concerts at Mount Cotton, Queensland, in the new year.
The picturesque winery is located just a short drive from the majority of Brisbane hotels and is an ideal setting for the band to call at on their first Australian tour in four years.
As fans of the group will no doubt be aware, INXS have been among the world's most popular rock acts for three decades, selling more than 35 million albums throughout their career.
The show, which will take place on January 30th 2011, follows shortly after the release of latest album Original Sin, featuring guest appearances from the likes of Matchbox 20's Rob Thomas, Kav Temperley of Eskimo Joe and hip-hop star Tricky.
Along with new material, gig-goers will be hoping to hear some of INXS's past hits, such as Never Tear Us Apart and Need You Tonight, which was recently sampled by UK rapper Professor Green.
