International Prayer Network Launches with Mission of Covering Least Evangelized Nations & Presenting New Level of Ministry in the Marketplace for Prophetic Intercessors & Entrepreneurs
Jacksonville, Fl (OPENPRESS) December 24, 2008 -- At 5am most people are trying to get one more good hour of sleep before they start their day, but for Christian Entrepreneur and Prophetic Intercessor, Lakeycia Jefferson, 5am is the perfect time to gather with intercessors from across the world, via phone, to pray. Jefferson launched The International Prayer Network (http://www.TheInternationalPrayerNetwork.com ) in November with the goal of gathering at least 100 intercessors from around the world for 5am prayer and 10pm training in prophetic intercession and marketplace ministry via The Fire Academy by January 5, 2009.
"My call to intercession is part of my spiritual inheritance. My grandparents were men and women of prayer. My paternal grandfather was the one that the fervent prayer was passed down through. He would pray prayers that would move heaven and shake earth. He would get down on his knees (you do not see this anymore) in front of the church and call down fire, would come up sweating and would not stop until there was a release from heaven." says Jefferson.
Besides this natural and spiritual inheritance as Jefferson calls it, she's also quite excited about the next level of prayer God birthed in her while attending Cindy Trimm's 2008 World Prayer Summit, which featured teaching, direction and impartation from prayer generals like Chuck Pierce, Glory of Zion International and Pastor Sarah Morgan, Women of Vision of California.
"My operation in prophetic intercession was taken to another level in this conference and my new prophetic sound was released." Jefferson states. "Although, I had an idea of what The Fire Academy and The International Prayer Network would be, it is currently nothing like the original plan. God came in and revamped the whole vision at this conference. So now it's God's VISION and He is the one who BIRTHED it out." Jefferson adds.
The vision for The International Prayer Network and The Fire Academy is to gather intercessors who can shift when God says to shift. IPN has a particular call to the nations of the 10/40 window. This area consists of 62 nations and represent the core of the least evangelized people of our world. It extends from West Africa to Asia. The network's foundational scripture is James 5:16 which says the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. The intercessors in this network will continue to press in prayer until change is seen in the earth realm.
Since its start in November, 2008 IPN has been in the birthing room for continued revelation concerning each intercessor's prophetic call to intercede for the nations. Jefferson's desire is to train up more than 100 prophetic intercessors throughout 2009. The goal of The Fire Academy is to take the whole person to another level through coaching in intercession and marketplace ministry. Plus, regional directors will eventually be set up, in order to release this marketplace module to the kingdom of God. Every intercessor will also receive monthly one on one, personal ministry so they can effectively intercede for the nations.
