Getting around the park
After the first 15 miles only the green Denali buses are allowed to go further into the park. This wilderness is just that, a wilderness unlike any other. Popular primarily in the summer when the temperature rise, the Spring is another amazing time to plan a tour of the park. Animals are out foraging for food after a long winter and the beautiful flowers in valleys throughout the park are beginning to bloom. Grizzly bears, dall sheep, caribou and the stunning mass migration of thousands of birds are the major draws during this part of the year.
