This prestigious holistic psychotherapy association recognizes newer organizations that are working toward helping individuals achieve a healthier lifestyle on all levels.
Embrace Your Inner Self is a holistic healing organization created by Sangita Patel. Through her personal struggles that stemmed from a serious accident that left her injured and took the life of her brother, she came to realize the importance of healing from a mental standpoint to enhance the healing power of the body when it comes to physical ailments of many kinds. She became familiar with holistic methods of healing that took into account the mental and spiritual healing, as well as the physical healing, and has now decided to share what she has learned with others to help them.
The GAHP recognized the steps she took on to reach out and help individuals who were also struggling with emotional or physical pain in their lives. In their evaluation of her work, they recognized that she was making a difference in the lives of many individuals. It was this dedication to helping others that earned her the Rising Star Award for 2013.
