New York, NY (OPENPRESS) December 28, 2010 -- Joy Berger authored Music of the Soul, Composing Life Out of Loss, and is the Quality and Education Researcher for Hosparus Inc., in Louisville, KY. She is a recipient of the National Heart of Hospice Psychosocial/Spiritual Caregiver Award, by the National Council of Hospice and Palliative Care Professionals. Joy's personal openness to hope took hold when completing her doctorate in piano performance, she suffered serious injuries to both hands.

She holds graduate degrees from the University of Rochester, Syracuse, Greenwich and Holos Universities.
