Comodo EasyVPN beta uses IM clients to access files, PCs
Jersey City, NJ (OPENPRESS) December 24, 2008 -- Comodo Security Solutions is pleased to announce the release of the beta version of its EasyVPN™ software. With this release, computer enthusiasts can use their home computer from the office through chat software.
EasyVPN™'s zero configuration peer-to-peer virtual private network (VPN) and instant messenger client is capable of establishing direct and secure VPN connections between computers, simulating a local area network over the Internet. EasyVPN™ works on a wide variety of networks and configurations, even those behind Network Address Translations (NATs).
EasyVPN™ comes complete with an instant messenger client and remote desktop control allowing users to send and receive instant messages, including files and secure or encrypted instant messages and access other PCs.
EasyVPN's beta software version was released last week on the Comodo forums and is available now for download by the public.
