HANDYGUYZ.com, a marketing solutions provider with a mission to drive business to local companies, is launching now in Seattle and aims to roll out to other U.S. cities in 2014.
Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (OPENPRESS) HANDYGUYZ.com is a marketing solutions provider with a mission to drive business to local companies, helping small businesses find and maintain steady work throughout the year.
"Our business is two-fold," says Rex Colinares, founder and chairman of HANDYGUYZ.com. "We connect members of the general public to trades-related companies, and vice-versa. Through HANDYGUYZ.com, folks can find reliable tradespeople for a variety of projects, and local companies can raise their profile in the community and ultimately get more work."
Anyone can post a project on HANDYGUYZ.com — from home renovations or auto repairs to boat maintenance — to receive competitive bids from local, licensed businesses.
A company can set up a free profile on HANDYGUYZ.com, or upgrade for extended marketing services, including their own company-specific website or exhibition space at one of HANDYGUYZ.com's tradeshows.
"As summer comes to an end, many trades-related businesses enter a slow period," says Colinares. "Our site helps businesses overcome this. It gives local tradespeople a voice."
HANDYGUYZ.com is hosting an inaugural tradeshow Oct. 11 and 12 at the Renton Community Center. The tradeshow is free to the general public, and will include 50-plus exhibits by local businesses, kids' activities and guest speakers. Job seekers are encouraged to bring their resumes to network with local businesses. Attendees will be entered into drawings to win prizes, including $2,000 towards a bath remodel from sponsor Bath Planet. More details about the tradeshow can be found at handyguyz.com/tradeshow.
"We'd love to see members of the greater Seattle community at our tradeshow to support local businesses," says Colinares. "We also invite folks to visit HANDYGUYZ.com now to post a project and find a pro."
HANDYGUYZ.com is launching now in Seattle but aims to expand to other U.S. cities in 2014.
