Mafiz has recruited Barry specifically to work with him on preparing a special new Scottish menu for the Christmas and New Year festive season.
Mafiz explained: "Popular and much loved as our Indian / Bangladeshi menu is, many our our regular diners might prefer to choose more traditional Scottish food during the festive season of Christmas and New Year.
"So I have recruited local chef Barry Cornes to join our team, and together we have concocted a special Scottish menu, which will be available at Ayr Spice from 1st December until 2nd January."
