The application provides everything needed to control and manage remote PCs, including remote control, task management, file transfer, live chat, device management and registry editing.
The market of remote control software is overcrowded, and just being a good product is not enough anymore. LiteManager does not stop at merely being good: it goes further to provide the entire range of remote access features and a bit more.
The latest version 4.5 announced by LiteManagerTeam, in addition to remote control over the desktop and clipboard, running programs, sharing files and other typical capabilities includes a brand new Quick Support feature to provide instant help to other users on the network. Quick Support is technically the same client-server bundle, but with minimum supplemental work to do - which is perfect for newbie or inexperienced users. Such a user simply needs to download and execute the server part, nothing more. The client connects to the given server with user´s authentication ID and provides all remote assistance capabilities.
Despite LiteManager being truly lightweight, it provides several unique capabilities competitors currently miss. For instance, the NoIP mode allows IP-free client-server connections using own IDs. This is a handy option if an administrator does not want the remote control to be dependent on third-party servers. The remote registry editor, video screen capture directly to AVI, inventory management and remote task control are available for more thorough remote management.
"We believe quality remote access tools do not have to be expensive," argues Denis Yakhovets, a leading developer at LiteManagerTeam. "While LiteManager is an affordable product, it features a lot - from basic remote desktop viewing to device manager and Telnet connection."
Pricing and availability
LiteManager is available for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. The price for a fully functional copy of the program is $10 per license with volume discounts available.
