A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded each year to a working parent enrolled in higher education by Job-Applications.com.

The $1,000 scholarship will be issued once a year, with this year's deadline being December 15 and winner announced December 30, 2013. The scholarship will be awarded to a qualifying working parent that is attending college or other accredited post-secondary education institution.
To qualify, an application must be submitted along with a 600 to 1000 word essay on three key factors describing how to successfully balance parenthood, working and excelling in school.
