Bucks County Excavating Company Hired by Bristol Township to Repair Sewer

Philadelphia, PA-NJ (OPENPRESS) Louis A. Bencardino and Bencardino Excavating were hired by Bristol Township, Bucks County, Pa., to create a new valve system to regulate water overflow caused by the Delaware River tides. The project was needed to prevent water from entering the township sewer system on Mill Street when the Delaware River's tide rises.

A first class township, Bristol has a population of 54,586, is more than 17 square miles and is the 13th largest municipality in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Geographically, it is situated at the southern-most portion of Bucks County.

The project was completed on July 7, 2013.
