Celebrity TV chef Mafiz Ali, proprietor of Ayr Spice Indian Restaurant in Minishant, South Ayrshire, Scotland, is proud to announce that he is teaming up with supermarket giant Sainsbury's store in Prestwick, Ayrshire, to hold three wine-tasting events to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee next weekend.
Ayrshire, Scotland (OPENPRESS) May 28, 2012 -- Celebrity TV chef Mafiz Ali, proprietor of Ayr Spice Indian Restaurant in Minishant, South Ayrshire, Scotland, is proud to announce that he is teaming up with supermarket giant Sainsbury's store in Prestwick, Ayrshire, to hold three wine-tasting events to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee next weekend.
Also featuring cooking demonstrations by former UK chefs of the year in Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine using wines and ingredients from Sainsbury's, the events will take place at Ayr Spice Indian Restaurant on Saturday, Sunday and Monday 2, 3 and 4 June.
Mafiz Ali commented: "My staff and I are very proud to be partnering Sainsbury's for this event, which will provide an excellent opportunity for local people and visitors to sample Sainsbury's wines and Ayr Spice cuisine at the same time as celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee."
Marc Watson is manager of Sainsbury's in Prestwick. He commented: "Sainsbury's in Prestwick are delighted to be supporting Ayr Spice Indian Restaurant and the Jubilee celebrations.

Sunday 3 June: 1pm - 4pm
Monday 4 June: 5pm - 8pm
The cost of the event, which includes tasting a range of wines available from Sainsbury's supermarkets and a delicious starter platter from the Ayr Spice Indian Restaurant kitchens, is just £5.
Tickets can be purchased in advance from Ayr Spice, or from Sainsbury's supermarket in Prestwick. They are also available from Sainsbury's in Newton Stewart, as Ayr Spice has regular customers from the town and its surrounding area.
