"Grieving and terminally ill children throughout King County have benefitted from care over the last 15 years because of this meaningful event," said Gary Crum, director of the Providence Hospice of Seattle Foundation. "We look forward to seeing this year's lunch continue this important legacy."

Doors open for the event at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins promptly at noon at the Washington State Convention Center, 800 Convention Place, in Seattle. Participants will not be charged for lunch, but a $150 donation is requested. About Michelle Frost:

Michelle Frost is a registered nurse, Certified Professional Coach, Master Practitioner in Energy Leadership and owner of Resiliency Coaching, LLC. With more than three decades of experience, she has devoted her career to serving patients, in particular children with life-threatening illnesses and the families who love them. As the mother of a childhood cancer survivor, Frost knows firsthand what it means to cultivate resilience in the face of life-altering circumstances. Through her work in these areas, as well as her personal experience as a childhood cancer survivor's mother and the daughter of parents who each had Alzheimer's disease, Frost shares her perspective with clients. Resiliency is not an attribute that we either have or don't have, but rather the amount of potential energy any one of us has to return to a state of well being despite a life-changing event. A key to her successful career is her ability to deeply connect with her clients and audiences through one to one coaching, speaking engagements and through her writing and blog.
