Girls With Impact Announces Summer business and leadership camp to keep students advancing while creating tomorrow's CEOs from the bedroom, backyard, or the beach.

(OPENPRESS) In an effort to train one million female leaders of tomorrow, Girls With Impact today announced its summer 2021 programs, which better position girls and young women nationwide for college and the workforce.

Registrations are being taken now for the Summer program, which starts July 5th. The program, specializing in business and leadership, will run over five weeks, with students attending a live, virtual, instructor-led class two times per week.

"The power of Girls With Impact is that our daughters can access it from anywhere and the peer support is incredible," said Priya Shenoy, a Nestle executive and mother of a graduate. "It's given my daughter tremendous skills and a story for her college applications."

Girls With Impact operates the nation's only live, online Business & Leadership Academy for young women 12-21, proven to drive confidence, leadership, STEM and business skills, and college admissions.

Designed with leaders from Harvard Business School, the program trains students to create a real business plan and fundraising pitch, starting from their passions or skills.

Business instructors teach the program live, covering such topics as problem solving, competition, marketing, and finances -- enabling students to tap into their personal passions or skills to create a business.

"Because of Girls With Impact, my confidence went through the roof," said Anika Mistry, 17, who designed a virtual reality aid to support those with autistic disabilities.

Neha Shukla turned her passion for coding into an invention, SixFeetApart, which landed her in the New York Times.

"Before Girls with Impact, it was just an idea," said Shukla. "But the program gave me the structure to bring my idea to life."

"They don't teach this stuff in school," said Jody Bell, 19, CEO of In Case of Deportation, who received a full college scholarship, largely due to her Girls With Impact experience.
