Iroquois County, Illinois has launched their new government website
Kankakee-Bradley, IL (OPENPRESS) Iroquois County, Illinois has launched their new website, www.co.iroquois.il.us. The new website offers visitors a fresh and minimal design, with detailed information on the county government as well as the Iroquois County Department of Public Health. Increased functionality on the Iroquois County website includes pages for each office within the county government, better access to FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests, and a comprehensive list of city, county, state and federal resources. Visitors can also browse job openings available within the county government.
Offices with pages on the new website include Animal Control, Assessor's office, County Clerk, County Coroner, Courts Division, Data Processing, ESDA, Finance Office, Highway Department, the Planning Department, Probation, County Recorder, County Sheriff, the County State's Attorney's office and treasurer.
Iroquois County is home to more than 30,000 constituents. More of which are becoming increasingly active on the internet. The newly designed website allows Iroquois County officials to convey important information and dates to their constituents regarding elections, agendas, board meetings and more utilizing a powerful content management system and event calendar.
Other important resources that can be found on the Iroquois County government website include emergency planning information, sample election ballots and an interactive map outlining all polling places within Iroquois County.
Additionally, the Iroquois County Department of Public Health finds its new online home within the Iroquois County website. The Health Department portion of the new website allows visitors access to important information related to community, environmental and senior health topics. Flu shot schedules, community health assessment and planning information (IPLAN) and maternal/child health information is now available.
The Iroquois County website was developed by Webfoot-Designs, a Manteno, Illinois based Web Design Company that specializes in website design for small business, municipalities, and other government organizations. Webfoot-Designs has also designed and developed websites for the Village of Beecher and the Momence School District.
