Unlike many companies that have struggles, Discount Cab is experiencing a growth spurt and looking to hire drivers to become part of the Discount Cab family. Drivers can begin earning cash in 3 days.
Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (OPENPRESS) During a time when many businesses have downsized or had to lay off workers, Discount Cab, a Total Transit company, has experienced the opposite phenomenon. Since they got their start in 1984, Discount Cab has grown into one of the leading private transportation companies in the Southwest and currently operates the largest fleet of hybrid cabs in North America.
Discount Cab drivers have the benefit of a financially secure, well-respected company behind them. Over the years, they've invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in marketing support for their drivers in the Phoenix metro and Tucson areas. In addition, the Discount Cab brand is synonymous with quality and safety. Our fleet is manly comprised of hybrid Prius cars that offer great gas mileage to the driver.
As a driver for Discount Cab, you have the flexibility to work your own hours and run your own business. Drivers can choose to make their business a full-time career or supplement income by working part-time. They provide a free 16 hour training program that includes 8 hours of both classroom and driving instruction and road certification. During the classroom session, drivers learn to think like entrepreneurs, market themselves and grow their business by increasing repeat customers. Discount Cab is also a believer in continuing education and provides it on a regular basis to all drivers.

Job fairs are held on the third Saturday of every month at the company's Mesa location, 2225 W. Main Street.
