Author Team Preps to Break Talk Radio World Record

New York, NY (OPENPRESS) May 28, 2009 -- On the heels of the release of their new book "TJ Walker's Secret to Foolproof Presentations," co-authors TJ Walker & Jess Todtfeld will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the "Most Radio Talk Show Interviews Within a 24 Hour Period." The team is already booked on more than 88 stations and counting and 72 is the current record. The interviews will take place between 6am ET June 1st and 6am June 2nd.
"I have been a lifelong fan of talk radio and this is my way of putting a spotlight on a very powerful medium. Talk radio is so powerful because it puts a spotlight on the most powerful tool in the universe—the human voice." Said Walker.
"We spend all day telling people how to present themselves and how to communicate better. For this record, we'll be putting our money where our mouths are, we'll be walking the walk, and of course, talking the talk… for 24 straight hours." Said Todtfeld
In reflection of the task at hand, Walker said it, "Will be grueling, but I believe it will be well worth the effort because of the power of talk radio and its ability to reach a wide audience. It will require stamina and discipline to conduct 100 or so interviews over a 24 hour period, but it also requires stamina and discipline for executives and public figures to manage their media image of the course of months, years and even decades."
Recently, Walker released his internationally recognized presentation and speaking advice through T.J. Walker's Secret to Foolproof Presentations. Within it, he gives the same guidance and advice he has given to his clients and is working to give our President through his public relations and communications within the media.
