The new website, which can be located at www.fencing-contractors.com, is designed to inform the public about their various fencing options when they are considering having a fence built or are in need of fencing repairs.
The fencing company, which has been building fences in the greater Sacramento area since 1988, has a well-established reputation as a fencing contractor that performs high quality work at a reasonable price. Once located at the junction of Highway 99, and Sheldon Road in Elk Grove California, the fencing company was a virtual landmark due to its high visibility and longevity at the Elk Grove location..
"Unfortunately, our fencing company fell victim to the highway construction and the widening of the roads that were going on in the area and we were forced to move to new location," says Gary Siewert, co-owner of the company. But the brothers Siewert, as they have done all of their lives, made the best of a potentially bad situation and set up shop elsewhere.
"There is no question that we took a big hit in terms of visibility, marketing, and public relations for our fencing company," says Siewert. "As they say it's location, location, location, and finding another location like that in the Sacramento area was well-nigh next to impossible," he says. "In fact, it is very difficult to establish the amount of lost business because you're talking about revenues that were no longer going to be realized as result of our location. But, my sense is that the loss, because we were so well-established and so well recognized in the Elk Grove-Sacramento area, was fairly substantial. Regardless, Stephen and I were determined to continue to grow the business and push forward."
So what did the Siewert Brothers do? They relocated to a brand-new location, located near a south Sacramento - Elk Grove border. Not only did they relocate, they built a brand-new facility, with plenty of room to grow for a fencing contracting business that continues to expand.
"A new location at 7448 Reese Road isn't on a main highway. Like we used to be - our new location is now between Gerber and Florin - what we miss in terms of visibility and location, we have made up for in terms of space," says Gary, the younger of the two Siewert brothers. "At the rate we are continuing to grow as a fencing company, the new location provides us with room for expansion."
After more than 20 years of being in the fencing contracting business, S&S Fence Company has delivered fencing construction for an impressive list of clients. Past clients include AT&T, Apple Computer, Hewlett-Packard, and ARCO Arena, home of the Sacramento Kings - just to name a few of the large, well-known corporations that they continue to do business with.
Additionally, S&S Fence has done public works projects that virtually every level of government. From local and municipal fencing projects, two large fencing contracts at the state and federal government level, S&S Fence has created an impressive list of satisfied customers in the governmental sector as well.
