The workshop is designed for residents and fellows to advance their skills and knowledge in the fundamentals of laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery through hands-on sessions with highly-skilled medical professionals as instructors. Dr. Roberts will instruct a session on preoperative patient preparation and organizing the operating room in laparoscopic surgeries on Saturday, April 12 at 7:35 a.m. She will also be instructing participants in laparoscopic suturing techniques. Dr. Hilbert earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where she was recognized with the prestigious Cincinnati Obstetrical and Gynecological Society Award. She completed her residency at St. Vincent Hospitals and Health Services in Indianapolis, Ind. Dr. Barbee, who attended medical school at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, where she also received a master's degree in public health. She completed her OB/GYN residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell in New York City.
