Pittsburgh native Jerrod Harlan, known better by his stage name "Hello Ontario" has announced his first debut studio album after securing his record deal with M.I.K.A. Records. Hello Ontario's self-titled album is expected to be released late 2012, with official dates to be released. Hello Ontario will begin touring shortly after the album is released. He will embark on a 12-18 month tour, promoting his album.
(OPENPRESS) August 18, 2012 -- Pittsburgh native Jerrod Harlan, known better by his stage name "Hello Ontario" has announced his first debut studio album after securing his record deal with M.I.K.A. Records. Hello Ontario's self-titled album is expected to be released late 2012, with official dates to be released. The album will bring new age indie/electronic melodies that range from upbeat to slower ballets. Jerrod states "I feel everyone will be surprised by the album as we are pushing great things". "Hello Ontario" will be recorded in South Beach Recording Studio in Miami, F.L. where an abundant of the industry's greatest talent have recorded certified gold and platinum albums.
Jerrod branched out from his former band as lead singer in October 2010 to form his solo act in Pittsburgh P.A. that has brought an edgy side of indie to the surface. Hello Ontario was influenced by the likes of artist such as HELLOGOODBYE of Montreal and Tokyo Police Club. With much positive reinforcement Hello Ontario was noticed in early 2012 and has been preparing to hit the studio to showcase his unique talent that is rare to find.
Hello Ontario will begin touring shortly after the album is released. He will embark on a 12-18 month tour, promoting his album. Details on tour dates will be released as the tour is vamping up to hit the stage during the production of "Hello Ontario". He is working diligently to create shows that will leave fans in awe. Additional announcements will be released as dates for publicity appearances, articles, website appearances and special events are scheduled.
