Ambassador Limousine Purchases One of Five Packard Limousines Known to Exist

Clearwater, FL (OPENPRESS) July 24, 2012 -- Ambassador Limousine & Sedan, Inc. (ALS), the largest and most esteemed ground transportation provider on the West Coast of Florida, announced today its purchase of one of the most exceptional and historic cars created in the past century - a dove gray 1934 five-passenger Packard Landaulette limousine. This iconic luxury vehicle is one of only five in existence in the world as well as the only Packard limousine registered in the state of Florida.

"Many ground transportation providers shy away from purchasing rare, antique cars because of the cost and risk associated with owning and operating these vehicles," said Ambassador Limousine CEO Ken Lucci. "But what we've learned from our experience working in the wedding industry is that we must have what the bride wants. The bride wants to feel like royalty on her wedding day, which she will when she's riding in this extremely elegant and rare limousine" he added.

Ambassador's impressive collection of luxury vehicles also features a 1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III, designating Ambassador as the only ground transportation provider in West Central Florida with a Rolls Royce fleet. Additionally, Ambassador offers Cadillac luxury sedans, Mercedes Benz limo coaches and various other lavish sport utility vehicles, limousines and motor coaches.

Since recently purchasing the Packard limousine in New York City for six figures, Lucci has invested half again the purchase price into restoring the vehicle to ensure that it is in mint condition for Ambassador's clients. Originally representing the ultimate luxury design for elite drivers during the Great Depression era, the Packard now functions as the most empyreal luxury coach.

"I've always been extremely proud of our elite collection of vehicles at Ambassador, as well as our firm commitment to excellence, both in service and in value," Lucci said. "Yet I'm also constantly seeking ways to enhance our fleet and build on our past success, which I believe our company has truly accomplished in purchasing the unique Packard," he added.
