Lombard, IL (OPENPRESS) July 17, 2012 -- Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc., a national staffing organization specialized in recruiting skilled personnel for clients in the Professional Services, Life Sciences, Healthcare and Information Technology industries, announced the relocation of their Corporate team to a new office at 55 West 22nd Street, Suite 230, in Lombard, Ill. The catalyst behind the move is an increased need for additional space as the Medix internal staff exponentially expands.
Since the inception of the company in 2001, the sales and recruiting force of Medix's flagship office in Lombard has always operated at the same location as the Corporate team. As both teams continue to increase their headcount, it became necessary to re-evaluate the strategy behind having both teams at the same location.
"In the past, we have been able to house all of our salespeople, recruiters, human resources, finance, marketing, payroll, AP/AR and legal team under one roof, but that is no longer possible with our company's hyper growth," said Scott Diamond, Vice President of Corporate Development at Medix. "With our recruiting and sales force increasing by over 31 percent and our Corporate team increasing by 77 percent in the past year, we knew it was time to uproot our Corporate team and establish them in a separate office."
Beyond space constraints, the corporate move will also help Medix adjust its corporate service needs. "Since the functions of the sales team and the Corporate team are different, it made business sense that we relocate to dedicated space that better serves our needs" said Diamond.
