Radius Power Launches UL-Approved EMI Filters Supporting Megawatt Class Photovoltaic

Orange, CA (OPENPRESS) July 11, 2012 -- Radius Power, Inc. a Global leader in the design and manufacture of EMI and RFI Power Line Filters, today announced the availability of the industry's widest range of UL-Approved solutions supporting "Megawatt- Class" Photovoltaic and Wind Turbine Inverters up to 2500A. The product lineup includes solutions for three-phase AC inputs from 480VAC-600VAC, as well as DC output filters from 250VDC-1200VDC, with individual models supporting ampacity from 25A to 2500A.
These new Megawatt-Class solutions form a new product category for Radius Power in 2012. The "Inverter Filter" section of the product offering now highlights the six (6) three-phase AC power line filter families, sixty (60) models in total, including single stage and multi-stage performance options addressing a broad range of EMI mitigation scenarios. With respect to DC Power Line Filters, Radius Power now offers 4 product families, twenty-seven (27) models in total. Both AC and DC Filters provide threaded metal stud terminations on models rated up to 250A, copper bus-bar terminations are standard on models rated greater than 250A. Each of these products possess a wide choice of Y-Capacitance values within their UL files, resulting in thousands of possible configurations each of which are Agency Approved.
