(OPENPRESS) July 10, 2012 -- The PGI Bali Junior Golf Series and Championship Cup will return to the Indonesian island in early August, with talented young golfers from across the country set to battle it out for top honours.
Set to take place at the Bali Handara Country Club on Sunday August 5th, the tournament is open to girls and boys in four age categories - 15 to 17, 13 to 14, 11 to 12, and ten years and under.
Prizes will be available to the first-place finisher and runner-up across all divisions.
Admission to the tournament costs 400,000 rupiahs (£27.25) for non-Bali Junior Golf Committee members.
Bali Handara is located in the north-central region of the Bedugul resort area and offers the highest mountain golf course in Indonesia, at 1,142 m above sea level.
The par-72 course is a two-hour drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport and the Nusa Dua resort, while Kuta and Tanah Lot are 90 and 60 minutes' drive away respectively.
It can be found in an ancient forest and offers panoramic views that extend as far as Lake Buyan.
