Ann Arbor, MI (OPENPRESS) July 5, 2012 -- The first Metro Chicago The Divorce Expo™ will take place August 18 at the Hotel Arista, at CityGate Centre in Naperville. The expo is designed for those facing the challenges of divorce; whether they are considering divorce, currently living through a divorce or dealing with the aftermath. The event offers top experts in their fields, keynote speakers, 20 plus interactive seminars and demonstrations.
"With over 32,000 Illinois couples facing permanent separation each year, many thousands of people are in search of advice from experts in order to know make a thoughtful 'stay or leave' decision, what to expect and how to survive divorce," said Christine McQueen, founder and CEO of Split Partners LLC, the organization sponsoring the event. "We've pulled all the expert resources together under one roof to help people gather the information they need. This unique event was very well received in Detroit last March so we decided to bring it to other Metro areas starting with Chicago."
The expo is something of a Midwest bazaar as 30 exhibitors from across the country will offer advice on topics including finance, legal, real estate, divorce tools, co-parenting, dating, fitness, health and self confidence and more.
Exhibitors are available for private consultations, experts join panel discussions and attendees can learn about the new social rules during the Social Sandbox session. Door prizes will also be awarded throughout the Expo. Prizes include a "back to school basket," voucher for Saks Fifth Avenue fashion update party, home makeover advice and more.
Show hours are from 9 am through 5:30 pm on Saturday. Tickets are $65 in advance through June 30, $ 75 until the day of the event at the The Divorce Expo™ website, or $90 at the door.
