Attorneys Serving the Community Hosts 26th Annual Luncheon on June 22

Dallas, TX (OPENPRESS) June 21, 2012 -- Amy Elizabeth Stewart, of Dallas' Amy Stewart PC, co-chairs the 26th Annual Attorneys Serving the Community Luncheon on Friday, June 22. This year's event features Sonia Manzano, "Maria" from Sesame Street, and benefits Trinity River Mission.
The event begins at noon at the Hilton Anatole, Chantilly Ballroom, 2201 Stemmons Freeway. Jennifer M. Trulock, of Baker Botts L.L.P., co-chairs the event along with Ms. Stewart.
"Co-chairing this event has allowed me to help two organizations I deeply believe in: ASC and Trinity River Mission," Ms. Stewart says. "Not only has it been a rewarding experience, but it's been great fun. I'm looking forward to a wonderful luncheon."
ASC's mission is to bring together women lawyers to combine their resources and talents to support local nonprofit organizations whose programs benefit women, children, and families. ASC is also committed to providing its members with personal growth and leadership opportunities, connections in the legal community, and friendship, as it carries out its primary mission of serving our community.
Trinity River Mission is a volunteer-based community learning center that promotes literacy, encourages academic success and develops effective life skills among disadvantaged youth in West Dallas.
Ms. Stewart was recently named one of D Magazine's Best Lawyers in Dallas. She has also been named one of the Top 25 Women in Business 2011 by the Dallas Business Journal and was named to the Texas Super Lawyers® list of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Texas by Thomson Reuters.
