Jammio, A New Online Community For Music Collaboration and Marketing

Dallas, TX (OPENPRESS) June 21, 2012 -- Jammio, LLC. is launching Jammio.com (Beta): An online collaboration tool for musicians to both market their services and securely request the services of other like-minded artists.
Jammio.com provides community profiles and a marketplace that showcases artists current works and helps them to develop unique future works. The social website provides a basis for artists to collaborate free of political borders and financial hindrances. No matter the vision of the artist, there is a place for them on Jammio.com.
Jammio.com is designed for freedom of platform and usage. Artists create their profile and select their areas of expertise, then they are able to upload tracks and lyrics to their artist portfolio. Artists are able to fulfill requests or create their own for other artists to fulfill. These requests can be free collaborations or paid gigs. Artists can provide vocals, instrumentals, lyrics, or engineering services through Jammio.com's format.
Using the Jammio Points (Jamp) system, artists can track their activity and experience on the website. As the artists fulfills requests and participates in community activities, they accumulate Jamps. Jamps are then used to reach new areas and levels on the service. These levels include a variety of incentives, including prizes and lowered commission rates.
The first 50 users to register will be rewarded 20,000 jamps, placing them 5,000 jamps away from the first Jammio level. The prize for the first Jammio level is a $10 iTunes gift card. They can quickly gain 5,000 jamps by uploading songs to their profile and/or creating a Jammio request.
In addition to this, for every month until September 3rd, 2012, $100 and a free spotlight will be given to the artist that collects the most points for the month.
