Deals Magazine Accepted as Chicago Ideas Week Partner

(OPENPRESS) June 6, 2012 -- Deals Magazine was recently accepted as a Chicago Ideas Week Community Partner, which will allow the deals company to further develop and enhance its dedication to the Chicagoland community.
Chicago Ideas Week (CIW) runs for one week in October and features a variety of speakers who share their ideas and strive to inspire positive action. Speakers scheduled for this year include photojournalists, CEOs, philanthropists, entrepreneurs and more. This year's event takes place October 8-14.
"Chicago is known for its passion and innovation," said Deals Magazine's online marketing director, Dante A. Monteverde. "As a Chicago Ideas Week Community Partner, we are demonstrating our commitment to both our local roots and to the innovative nature of Deals Magazine."
Deals Magazine, a print and online deals publication, uses patent-pending software to let subscribers customize their shopping areas and view deals that are relevant to their daily routines. Deals Magazine also spearheaded environmental initiatives such as their referral program that plants new trees on behalf of participating subscribers and to replace trees for its print publication and other print marketing materials.

Chicago Ideas Week will feature more than 80 sessions across the city of Chicago. Presentations, interviews, workshops and lectures are designed to foster fresh perspectives and creativity.
As a CIW Community Partner, Deals Magazine will participate in weekly CIW Twitter chats at #ideachats every Tuesday at 11 a.m.
