Sun Pirate, Inc. Launches Solar Heating System Design & Installation Online Solar Training Course

Cotati, CA, US, May 24, 2012 -- Solar Heating System Design & Installation Online Solar Training course is now open for registration. The new revamped online course is recognized by Interstate Renewable Energy Council as an ISPQ Accredited Continuing Education Provider and by North American Board of Energy Practitioners for 60 Continuing Education Credits.
The online solar training classes are held completely online and are ongoing independent study courses that are instructor mentored. Each course has online discussions and they are used as the primary communication median for the courses along with email communication.
This course will guide students through the basics of solar hot water, pool, home, and commercial heating systems. Topics include solar thermal system types, site analysis, system selection, system design, safety, installation practices, selling, system service and more.
Solar Heating System Design & Installation is a 15 lesson online course. The course is ISPQ accredited by IREC and recognized by NABCEP for continuing education credit of 60 hours.
This course is also registered with NABCEP for the Solar Heating Entry Level Exam. This means upon successful completion of this online solar training course student may opt in to take the Solar Heating Entry Level Exam for an additional fee. Students may take the exam at registered testing locations located throughout the United States which are hosted by Prometric.
Each lesson consists of learning objectives, reading assignment, links to visit and online discussions to participate in. Each lesson is self paced.
Roger Coghlan of Sun Pirate is the instructor for the new Solar Thermal System Design & Installation Online Course, offered also as a NABCEP Solar Thermal Entry Level Exam option. Roger is an IREC ISPQ certified affiliate instructor and posses a California designated subjects vocational education teaching credential. Roger has been a California solar contractor since 1981.
