SEMI-GAS® Systems' Xturion™ Hybrix Awarded Golden Gas Award

Malvern, PA (OPENPRESS) March 6, 2012 -- SEMI-GAS® Systems, a division of Applied Energy Systems, Inc, and a manufacturer of industry-leading ultra-high purity gas source and distribution systems, announced that its Xturion™ Hybrix won the 2012 Golden Gas Award presented by Gases & Instrumentation International Magazine in the gas handling category.
This year's competition attracted more than 60 entries in nine categories. Products were rated on their ability to solve important challenges to the gas industry; technological innovativeness; environmental 'green' attributes; and superior specifications including power requirements, speed, maintenance, cost-effectiveness and product quality.

The Xturion Hybrix system safely supplies up to 10 processes gases to one or multiple points of use, integrating the function of several gas source and distribution systems into one dynamic, hybrid cabinet. This compact system features an easy-to-use color touch screen controller to operate all of the system's gas processes. Each Hybrix can be custom engineered to application specific gases, pressures and flow rates.
The fully automatic system includes sensor monitoring, system purging and emergency shutdown, ensuring the safest operating conditions. The Xturion Hybrix's ultra-high purity construction makes it a perfect gas source solution for the semiconductor, nanotechnology, R&D, LED and photovoltaic markets.
