Lucknow (OPENPRESS) February 11, 2012 -- Toyota officially announced its entry into Indian motorsports with Etios Motor Racing (EMR) at the Auto Expo in Delhi earlier this year. The company is now reaching out to the motorsport enthusiasts with on-ground promotional activities across the country. Lucknow will experience the initial excitement of EMR on the 11th and 12th of February 2012 at the Toyota dealership - Sunny Toyota (Chinat, Faizabad Road).
Through these dealership activities, motorsport enthusiasts in Lucknow will be given an opportunity not only to touch and feel the new sporty avatar of the Etios and Etios Liva but also engage in a host of fun-filled, racing and motorsport activities.
Globally, Toyota's rationale is to make motorsports more accessible, not only to participants but to its spectators as well. Through its wide network in India the company will take EMR closer to its customers across the country in the year 2012. In all, EMR will reach out to a majority of Toyota customers and motorsport enthusiasts in 14 cities and 24 dealerships.
Toyota's Etios Motor Racing, the one-make racing series, will be held in 2013 and the racing platform will help talented young racers develop their skills, and further train them to gain a competitive edge for their future in motorsports.
