The Chef's Academy, located at 664 E. Washington St., will offer lunch and dinner on Monday, Jan. 30; breakfast, lunch and dinner on Tuesday, Jan. 31; and breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Breakfast will be priced at $10 and served from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., lunch will cost $15 and will run from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and dinner is $20 and will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. All local hospitality professionals and children ages six through 12 will receive 50 percent off their meal. Children age 5 and under eat free. On Monday, Jan. 30, all Harrison College employees will also receive a 50 percent discount.
As the host of Super Bowl 46, many are expecting that downtown Indianapolis will have a shortage of available dining options for the number of people expected in the city. The Chef's Academy is looking to provide a place to get a great meal at a reasonable price to not only those individuals, but also the increased number of hospitality professionals in the city to service those crowds.
"We are excited to open an all-you-can-eat buffet to offer to the public during Super Bowl week," said Jayson Boyers, national division president of The Chef's Academy. "This will be a very intense week for those working in the hospitality industry. They will be working extended hours and dealing with extremely high volumes of guests. As an institute that trains individuals for the hospitality industry, we are committed to standing by our fellow professionals and providing them with a discount on our buffet. We want them to be able to get a great meal at a low price to keep them refueled and ready to showcase the fact that Indianapolis is a great place to visit."
