Shawn Nix Joins SfL+a Architects As Project Manager

Fayetteville, NC (OPENPRESS) January 5, 2012 -- SfL+a Architects (http://www.sfla.biz) has announced that Shawn L. Nix has joined the firm as project manager. In this position, Nix will oversee the design, management and coordination of multiple complex projects, including construction documents and detailing, as well as assist in establishing the company's Revit standards and details for modeling design.
A native of Salem, Ore., Nix received his Bachelor of Arts in architecture from the University of Oregon in Eugene. His professional career includes 12 years in architectural design and seven years of art and architecture studies in college. Prior to joining SfL+a Architects, Nix served as an architectural professional in Valdosta, Ga. and Atlanta, managing projects in the retail, medical, educational, industrial and municipal fields. Notable projects have included the F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center in Gwinnett County, the Chattahoochee Bank main office and the Gwinnett County Environmental Learning and Heritage Center Discovery Playground. Nix currently resides in Fayetteville with his wife, Lori, and son, Andy.
