(OPENPRESS) December 13, 2011 -- Solent and London based sail training company First Class Sailing has launched a new website that offers their complete range of RYA approved sailing training courses. Visitors to the completely upgraded site are able to browse all the upcoming practical and theory sailing courses, read full details and complete their booking immediately.
"We would like to see sailing open to as many people as possible" says First Class Sailings' owner and Principal, Charlie Tulloch. "By making all our sailing courses available online people are able to decide then and there on the one that best suits their needs and skills."
First Class Sailing also offer the unusual service of running sailing theory courses in their customers offices. "A surprising amount of what we teach, such as navigation skills, can be done at a desk. There are two main shorebased courses - the Day Skipper Theory and the Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Theory course" continued Charlie. "If there are a few people in an office interested, and they are able to give us a room outside of normal working hours, it's a great chance for people to gain these recognised sailing qualifications at a time that suits them."
The RYA Sailing training courses offered by First Class Sailing cover a range or practical and theory skills, progressing from 'Competent Crew' through to a fully qualified Yachtmaster. The new website and the complete range of courses can be found at http://www.firstclasssailing.com/
The site also gives the ability to purchase required accessories, like RYA Log Books, Chart Plotters and Dividers and handbooks. First class sailing also offers day trips, yacht charter management as well as places on yacht racing days. The sailing school was established in 2000, and now has two new (2010) Jeanneau 36i yachts, as well as chartering other vessels such as Beneteau 38, Najad 396, Sun Odyssey 40 and Challenge 72 depending on the event. First Class Sailing train around 1500 people per year.
