ABC11 Eyewitness News Participates In 5th Annual Free To Breathe® 5K And 1 Mile Run/Walk And Rally

Raleigh, NC (OPENPRESS) November 5, 2011 -- ABC11 Eyewitness News (http://www.ab11.com) has announced that Anchor and Heart of Carolina Perspectives Host Angela Hampton will participate in the upcoming 5th Annual Free to Breathe® 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk and Rally on Saturday, Nov. 5 at North Hills, located at 120 Saint Albans Drive. An event expo will begin at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the event and will include children's entertainment, sponsor booths with goodies, educational exhibits, a survivors' tent, food, music and more. The race, presented by Duke Raleigh Cancer Center, provides opportunities for lung cancer advocates, survivors and the community to come together to raise awareness and support to fight this disease. All proceeds will benefit the North Carolina Lung Cancer Partnership's research, education and awareness programs.
