Five of the World's Top Eight Tennis Players Gather in Basel This Week

London, UK (OPENPRESS) November 2, 2011 -- Five of the world's top eight gather in Basel this week and there's also action in Valencia, Bali as well as the small matter of the Fed Cup final.

You can watch and bet on ATP and WTA Tennis live for free at bet365 > live tennis ( http://www.live-tennis.com )

There's a mouthwatering field in Basel this week for the Swiss Indoors. Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Roger Federer all competing for one of the biggest titles on the indoor circuit. It's something to savour, rarely do we see a field this strong outside of Masters 1000 events. It says something about the strength of the event that the likes of Tomas Berdych and Andy Roddick are mere sideshows.

However you'll have to wait a few days to watch the likes of Djokovic and Federer go toe-to-toe as the streaming does not start until Thursday.

The same is the case for the Valencia Open where world number five David Ferrer returns to defend his title and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga looks to try and make sure of his place at the ATP World Finals. Watch out for Juan Martin Del Potro too, the Argentine's looking good going into the final couple of events of 2011.

Next weekend, there's the Fed Cup final to look forward to as newly crowned WTA Champion Petra Kvitova looks to cap a memorable year by leading the Czech Republic to victory against a strong Russian side.

And the WTA Tour comes to a conclusion with the Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions in Bali, a special finale event for the six players who have won the most WTA International titles this week, plus two wildcards. Marion Bartoli, Sabine Lisicki and Ana Ivanovic are among the competitors.

ATP Valencia: November 3rd - 6th
