Raleigh, NC (OPENPRESS) October 19, 2011 -- Bruce Clarke, president and CEO of CAI (http://www.capital.org), a human resource management firm that helps organizations maximize employee engagement while minimizing employer liability, has announced the firm's newest partnership with Job Ready Services (http://www.jobreadyservices.net/), an industrial rehabilitation facility providing post-offer employment and functional-evaluation testing in determining the ability of employees to safely perform their jobs. The partnership's goal will be to assist North Carolina employers in their efforts of reducing workplace injury and workers' compensation costs, ensuring a fit and productive workforce. Services offered by Job Ready Services, including fit for duty testing, job analysis, post-offer employment testing, work conditioning and ergonomic assessments, will benefit members of CAI and provide a resource in addressing overall risk reduction.
"Workforce research shows that 10 percent of all American employees are not physically capable of performing job duties safely - a number that accounts for 75 percent of all work-related injuries," said Clarke. "The partnership between CAI and Job Ready Services is a testament to our continued commitment in educating our members on the preventative measures that can be incorporated to reduce workers' compensation expenses."
"Helping employers reduce workplace injury and their workers' compensation costs is our goal, and by joining forces with CAI that goal will have an even further reach," said Michelle Morgan, vice president of Job Ready Services. "We know this is an important issue to CAI as well, and we look forward to talking with CAI members about the benefits our company can provide them."
