LITTLETON, Colo. (OPENPRESS) October 17, 2011 - Now is the time to register for ULTRAPURE WATER Micro 2011 (UPW Micro 2011) to be Nov. 2-3 at the Red Lion Hotel on Jantzen Beach in Portland, Ore. UPW Micro 2011 will feature technical presentations on timely topics related to semiconductor water treatment. The conference structure allows individuals active in semiconductor water treatment, or interested in this area to gain more knowledge about this key water business segment.
This year's conference will be divided into four half-day sessions: Sections will focus on these categories: Emerging Needs for Semiconductors and PVs, Technology Development/Innovation, Water Management, and Metrology. Here are examples of the 20 presentations scheduled for the conference: "UPW Water Business Opportunities in Microelectronics/Photovoltaics", "ITRS Update", "Organic Contamination in UPW", "Advances in Resistivity Measurement, Effects of Steam and Ozone Sterilization on PVDF", "Benefits of Regular UPW Operational Data and Trend Review", and "Digital Sensor Technology Advances Resistivity Measurement Accuracy".
UPW Micro 2011 will also feature tabletop exhibits, and offer attendees the chance to meet and network with others active in semiconductor water treatment. UPW Micro has been an annual event that since 1998 has addressed timely water treatment topics relevant to the microelectronics industries.

ULTRAPURE WATER journal is a monthly on-line journal that covers the business and technology of water treatment.
