(OPENPRESS) October 11, 2011 -- Tulix Systems, Inc. has completed the launch of a series of innovative mobile digital streaming applications that provide 24 x 7 live and 10 day on-demand availability for its client, The Word Network. The Word Network is the undisputed global broadcast source for urban ministries and gospel music. These applications allow The Word Network and its ministry partners to extend their broadcast reach and audience dialogue.
The digital streaming applications include downloadable apps for iPhone, Android and Blackberry Smartphone's that allow viewers to watch live Word Network programming through Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G or LTE connections. To accommodate non-Smartphone users, the Word Network has provided web-based live streaming applications that are accessible from any mobile browser.
In addition to the web streaming application available by PC from its website, the Word has launched the industry's first PC based online DVR that allows its audience to access any programming at any time directly, from a rolling 10 day calendar.
