RateTiger and IoH (UK) launch the 'Aspiring Online Distribution Manager's Award 2011'

London, UK (OPENPRESS) September 21, 2011 -- RateTiger, the premium full service rate shopping and channel management solution provider, and the Institute of Hospitality, UK's most respected professional body for hospitality managers, has today officially launched the 'Aspiring Online Distribution Manager's Award 2011'.
The award aims at recognising hospitality professionals who demonstrate a high level of commitment to their hotel(s) online distribution and to their own learning and development in the field. The judging will be based on the nominees' contribution in achieving exceptional results in either of the different categories of online benchmarking and rate management, online sales or marketing strategy, inventory management, automation of online distribution and guest review management.
RateTiger has been constantly working with hospitality associations across the globe to aid the educational development of industry professionals while developing new technologies to help hotels maximize online distribution.
The award's eligibility criteria focus on either of the nominees' current qualifications, industry experience or continuing professional development. Nominations are open from today until 30th September 2011, and can be made either by the hotel or the manager directly.
The 'Aspiring Online Distribution Manager's Award 2011' will be announced at the inaugural IoH Chairman's Ball on 28th October 2011 at Four Seasons Hotel, Park Lane, London. The winner will receive an 'Aspiring Manager' Award trophy and certificate from RateTiger, Institute of Hospitality Associate Membership free for a year, People Development Programme free from learnpurple and a luxury weekend accommodation break for two people.
