Treat Yourself 5k Fun Run To Benefit Providence Elderplace And Providence Heritage House At The Market

A great way to get some exercise, hang out with family and friends and support two wonderful organizations that serve elders in our community.
Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (OPENPRESS) The community is invited to run or walk 5 kilometers at Seattle's Seward Park on May 11 to benefit Providence ElderPlace and Providence Heritage House at the Market. The Treat Yourself 5k family fun run and walk begins at 10 a.m. The free kids 1k dash begins at 11 a.m.
"This is a really fun way to get some exercise, hang out with family and friends and support two wonderful organizations that serve elders in our community," said Pam Gargett, events manager for Providence Home and Community Care Special Events. "We look forward to having many participants and sharing all the treats offered by our awesome sponsors."
Registration is $35 per adult. Kids of any age can participate in the 1k for free. All 5k participants receive a Treat Yourself 5k tech t-shirt and treats provided by Grand Central Bakery, Bucha Belly, Café Appassionato, The Essential Baking Company, Street Treats and Zing Bars. Top three finishers will win prizes from Brooks, Super Jock 'n Jill, and Trilogy Chiropractic. Hiit Lab will lead a pre-run warm-up and City SoundWave will DJ.
