This year's two-day event will feature 15 exquisitely designed Christmas trees, guaranteed to wow and impress guests and donors who support the event's mission to help those in need through healthcare, housing and hospice.

Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (OPENPRESS) Get ready for Providence O' Christmas Trees, celebrating its 31st year of supporting the community with a spectacular fundraiser that rings in the holiday season and benefits those served by Providence Senior and Community Services. This year's two-day event will feature 15 exquisitely designed Christmas trees, guaranteed to wow and impress guests and donors who support the event's mission to help those in need through healthcare, housing and hospice.

The 2015 Providence O'Christmas Trees kicks off the holiday season on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2015, with a Silver Bells Luncheon, Christmas Carnival, and a dinner gala, all at The Westin Seattle.

KING-TV anchor Dennis Bounds will continue his 16-year tradition of emceeing the event.

"Because we have such a passionate group of community volunteers who make up the Providence O'Christmas Trees board, we are able to set higher fundraising goals, use innovative fundraising strategies and inspire more people to support Providence Senior and Community Services," said Patricia Szabo, executive director of Providence Senior and Community Services Special Events. "While continuing to honor the Providence O'Christmas Trees tradition, our guests will also see some change this year. Guests this year should look forward to exciting live entertainment, enhanced silent auctions, and a special focus on our mission."

The two-day event offers holiday fun and joy for all ages. The first day will feature the "Silver Bells Luncheon" from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Nov. 30. Celebrate the spirit of the season with event chairwoman Stacy Pleskoff while you peruse designer decorated Christmas trees and vote for your favorite. Cross some holiday shopping off your list in the Grand Lobby Shops featuring glassybaby and more, and enjoy a fashion show featuring Providence beneficiaries and supporters wearing fashions by Banana Republic and jewelry from the Lisa Bridge Collection by Ben Bridge Jeweler.

Later in the day, families are invited to attend the free "Christmas Carnival" from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Westin Seattle, 1900 Fifth Ave. Enjoy pictures with Santa, kids carnival games, exciting entertainment with headline performer Caspar Babypants, delicious snacks, and crafts with the Seattle Children's Museum. Peruse the beautifully decorated designer Christmas trees, which will include themes such as "The Little Thinkers," "Star Wars," "Raining Cats and Dogs," and "Carousel of Joy!" Vote on your favorite at this wonderful event chaired by Annabella Chiocco and join your loved ones to kick off the holiday season.

The O'Christmas Trees Gala Dinner & Auction, chaired by Majdi and Dana Daher, will follow on the evening of Dec. 1. The trees and other amazing items will be auctioned to benefit seniors and hospice patients served by Providence Health & Services' Senior and Community Services. Reservations are required for the Silver Bells Luncheon and the O' Christmas Trees Gala Dinner & Auction and may be made by calling 206-938-2788.
