Providence Hospice Of Seattle Invites Grieving Children, Teens And Families To Participate In Summer Day And Overnight Camps

Camps are for children, teens, and their families who have experienced the death of a loved one.

Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (OPENPRESS) Providence Hospice of Seattle this summer will hold three Family Day Camps for children, teens, and their families who have experienced the death of a loved one. In addition, the agency will run two sessions of Camp Erin™-King County, three-day overnight camps for kids and teens who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

Each of the Family Day Camps will offer families the opportunity to come together for education, fun and support with the help of professional grief counselors. The camps will be held:

Wednesday June 27, 2018, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Providence Hospice of Seattle in Tukwila. This day camp is for kids and teens who have experienced the loss of someone special. Pizza lunch will be served.

Wednesday July 25, 2018, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Providence Hospice of Seattle in Tukwila. This day camp is for kids and teens who have experienced the loss of someone special. Pizza lunch will be served.

Wednesday Aug. 29, 2018, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Providence Hospice of Seattle in Tukwila. This camp is specifically designed for children and teens who have experienced the death of a sibling. Pizza lunch will be served.

Space is limited. To register for any of the day camps and get specific location information, contact Brad Justin at Bradley.justin@providence.org or 206-389-4355.

Each session of Camp Erin™-King County includes three days of overnight camping for kids and teens who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

June 8-10, 2018, Kids Camp for grades 1 to 6.

July 13-15, 2018, Teens Camp for grades 7 to 12.
