Mayor Connie Moran Presents Proclamation To Ocean Springs High School SAVE Chapter
Ocean Springs, MS (OPENPRESS) The mayor of Ocean Springs, Connie M. Moran, presented a proclamation at Ocean Springs High School on May 17 declaring May as National Teen Safe Driving Month in the city. Mayor Moran was joined by Ocean Springs High School's Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) chapter advisor Carolyn Boyd, SAVE student representatives and local Allstate agent Ginny Conn for the presentation. The mayor and SAVE students also signed an "X The TXT" banner and made a pledge to not text while driving. Throughout the month of May, SAVE and Allstate are partnering with Mississippi high school SAVE chapters to encourage students to adopt safe driving habits.
