EA Sports has announced Co-op seasons, a new online mode for FIFA 14, where players can play with one other friend against 2 online players.

(OPENPRESS) EA Sports has announced Co-op seasons, a new online mode for FIFA 14, where players can play with one other friend against 2 online players. Match Day has also been expanded to affect online seasons modes. It was also announced that FIFA 14 will support cross-generational save transfer, allowing you to play on the Xbox 360 or PS4 and transition your data to the Xbox One or PS4 respectively without problems.

With the inclusion of co-op in the Seasons mode, friends will be able to band together to get promoted or stave off relegation on separate systems in the popular format. The Match Day feature is also coming to Seasons, which mean that you can use real-world injuries, form, and more in your seasons play.

Match Day has expanded into Seasons and Co-Op Seasons, completely connecting fans playing online for the football season for the world's top leagues, with injuries, suspensions, and player from changing throughout the season based on real-world events and performances. Achieving global success with a friend couldn't have been done anywhere else. This is another achievement that I feel brings footballer friends together.

Stadiums have also been improved, with a greater atmosphere created and 121 different broadcast cameras outside the stadium and around the pitch. Match Flow will also add to the dynamic gameplay, as ball boys interact with players, throwing the ball for the player to catch and take a throw in.

Worried about your progress in your current-gen version of FIFA 14 not making a difference in the next-gen version? No problem as players will now be able to transfer Seasons progress, including trophy case and leaderboards, Virtual Pro and accomplishments, and selected Career Mode rewards. This also applies to Ultimate Team coins and teams.

This week it was announced that the Xbox One version of FIFA 14 will feature Ultimate Team Legends; which allows classic players to be on the same team as their current counterparts. The Xbox One Day One edition console in Europe will also come bundled with FIFA 14. However, speaking to Videogamer.com the game's producer, David Rutter, says the partnership with Microsoft does not impact on their relationship with Sony.

Set to be available on the 3DS, PC, PlayStation 3, PSP, PS2, PS4, Vita, Wii, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The first console versions ship in North America on September 24 and worldwide on September 27, with next-gen due in November when the new consoles launch. A mobile version is coming to Android and iPhone device in northern autumn, with other platforms to follow. It will be free-to-play. A demo is coming on September 10.

Jockeying is the single move that will take your game to the next level; on defense your finger should rarely leave the jockey trigger. The best FIFA players in the world contain their opponent by continuing to run back using the jockey. This forces your opponent into making the move rather than you just sticking a leg in. Try not to immediately dive in and steal the ball from your opponent, just jockey with him until he gets too close to the box. More often than not, you'll just intercept a pass when he gets impatient.

To have the ability to obtain the shielding person to start jockeying, you have to click as well as hold LT (or L2 bring about on PS3), then you definitely will detect a small alternation within their body scenario. Once you're jockeying the actual fighting participator. Now how could you suggest for them in the future or within? That relies mostly about the position of the gamer in comparison with assaulting battler. If you're fighting from to left as well as display an individual within you need to click the actual left joystick up to you battler.

Which is actually above the actual gamer using the ball and when you wished to demonstrate an individual in the future you will have to push the actual left joystick lower till your own battler is underneath the opposing game player. The in contrast goes when you're heading from remaining to right which means you must end up being above to exhibit them inside and beneath to exhibit them outdoors.

As well as these uses, the Jockey is also a very effective tool when it comes to making tackles. Although you cannot tackle whilst performing the Jockey, and Jockeying in to someone isn't a smart way to tackle itself, you can still use it using a special technique and this is your main way for making standing tackles:

1. Perform the Jockey as normal
2. Whilst Jockeying, move in to your opponent
3. Release the Jockey Trigger
4. An Automatic Standing Tackle will be made (when timed correctly)

Because you are now very close to your opponent, the game will produce an Automatic Standing Tackle, as previously mentioned, these are a lot more reliable and safer than Manual Standing Tackles. Occasionally with this technique however, the game may not produce an Automatic Standing Tackle, but this is a very rare occurence and is probably more down to bad positioning than a glitch etc.

Jockey is the most important defensive skill to master. You can block passing lanes, tackle and keep your tactical shape all with one control. In FIFA 13, you can still jockey an opposition player into playing a safe pass as opposed to taking you on directly, but this is a system that has now been merged with the much overused "homing beacon" tackling system of previous FIFA games. When faced with jockeying a possession player or going in for a usually successful clean tackle, you'd without doubt opt for the latter.

I hope you begin to use this FIFA 13 defending tip and begin to keep more clean sheets. Good luck!
