Alliance University is a renowned university of higher learning located on an extensive state-of-the-art campus in Bangalore offering a variety of degree courses. They received the Brands Academy Education Excellence Award, 2013 for the Most Innovative Private University in South India.
(OPENPRESS) Alliance University received the Brands Academy Education Excellence Award, 2013 for the Most Innovative Private University in South India. The award ceremony was at the Education Excellence Summit on April 13, 2013, at the ITC Maurya in New Delhi. Television channel ET Now was the official media partner of the entire event and the event will be telecast soon. I want to congratulate each one of you for your dedication, commitment, innovativeness and competence in achieving this great honor. Amity University also received a similar award for North India.
BIG Research, one of India's leading market research companies, carried out a study over a period of six months in about 3300 educational institutions spread across India for awards in different categories and zones depending upon their location and focus of their courses. The winners were decided on the basis of an analysis of data on the Infrastructure, Faculty, Placements, Number of Students and Annual Growth in terms of students/course amongst various other parameters. The study also took into account factors like presence and quality of student recreation facilities, hostels, canteen, institutional journal, user friendliness of the institute website, participation of students/faculty in national and international seminars, papers published in national and international journals, etc.
Subsequently, the popularity and perception of the participants amongst the end consumers (students/parents/educational consultants/industry experts/prominent educationists) was gauged through opinion surveys. Over 2,550 respondents submitted their feedback. This stage focused on gathering insights into the brand equity, media visibility, students & alumni feedback, and feedback from industry experts about the institution.
As I have always said, our success is in attracting and motivating the right kind of people who are academically rigorous--scholars who can analyze and bring the discipline of sound judgment to address complex and messy problems, along with a team of dedicated, competent, untiring and extremely friendly staff to ensure that the mission of the University is pursued relentlessly.
With this solid recognition, it becomes even more imperative that we assume greater leadership roles as we purport to teach and engage our university communities in exploring, studying, and making a difference on the big issues facing our society today and in the future.
